My Teaching Philosophy

My Teaching Philosophy
MY PERSONAL PROFİLE
My name is Güzin Ulaşan. I am second year student from EFL department. I am from Antalya. This is my third year in Metu NCC. I like Cyprus because of its friendly and helpful locals. There is almost unlimited sunshine here. I have lots of chance to spend my day efficiently. For example, Mondays and Thursdays , I am attending art workshops and I think it is peaceful. Also I like doing sports, such as playing volleyball and tennis.
Let I mention about my past. I was studying  Alanya teacher training high school. When I was in high school, I interested in playing an instrument. I chose the violin, but I didn’t  take much time. Because of university enterance exam, I paused learning to play violin. In time, I almost forgot how to play violin.
Finally, my future, I hope to continue playing the violin. Also my intention is taking my master degree. If I have a chance, I would like tol ive abroad in order to have better life standard.

MY PERSONAL STATEMENT
Why do I want to be a teacher? I want to be a teacher because I love children. Also, when I was in teacher training high school, I took some classes which are related to education and I liked them. So I decided to be a teacher.
Last spring semester, I had an experience with “Orientation Leader Project” in METU NCC. I was one of the leaders. My duty was helping students during the dormitory registration days and maket hem feel more comfortable in their new school. I really enjoyed being a leader and dealing their problems.
My expectation about this year is improving my point of view about teaching and learning and of course my relationship with technology.

By the time I graduate, my goal is being a teacher who renews oneself.
